Requirements
- To enroll in Semester 1 Advance Level Quran course, the student must meet the following requirements:
- 1. Basic Qaidah Level Certificate Holder: The student should have completed a basic Qaidah level course, which covers the foundational rules of Arabic script and pronunciation necessary for reading the Quran.
- 2. Regular and Punctual Attendance: The student is expected to attend the Quran course regularly and be punctual for the scheduled classes.
- 3. Personal WhatsApp Number: The student needs to have a personal WhatsApp number to facilitate communication with the course instructor and receive course updates and materials.
- 4. Good Internet Connection: A reliable internet connection is essential for participating in online Quran courses, as most of them are conducted through video conferencing or online platforms.
- 5. Communication Skills: The student should be able to effectively communicate in at least one of the languages offered for the course, which can be either Urdu or English. This is necessary to understand the instructions and explanations provided by the instructor.
- Additionally, the student's dedication to learning and willingness to practice regularly will contribute to a successful experience in the Quran course.

This In-Depth Learning course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of selected Quranic chapters (Parahs) while emphasizing the correct recitation, Tajweed rules, Makharij (pronunciation points), and an exploration of the unique characteristics of each letter (sifaat). This course is ideal for students who already possess basic Quranic reading skills and wish to deepen their connection with the Quran and also for the students who are starting to learn Quran.
This course is designed according to Riwayah of Hafs an Asim (the shortest chain of teachers which directly link to Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W). Curriculum designed according to the Masjid un Nabwi.
Course Duration: 5 months (approximately 20 weeks)
Course Objectives:
- To enable students to recite and understand selected Quranic chapters (Parahs) with proper Tajweed and pronunciation.
- To familiarize students with the Makharij (pronunciation points) to enhance their Quranic recitation accuracy.
- To explore the distinctive characteristics, themes, and messages within each selected Parah.
- To instill a deeper spiritual connection with the Quran and its teachings.
Course Outline:
Month 1:
- Introduction to Tajweed: Basics of Tajweed rules, including correct pronunciation of Arabic letters.
- Recitation Practice: Students will start reciting the selected verses from the first Parah under the guidance of the instructor.
Month 2:
- Tajweed Continued: Learn more advanced Tajweed rules, such as Qalqalah and rules of stopping (Waqf).
- Makharij: Understanding the articulation points for different Arabic letters and correct pronunciation.
- Recitation Practice: Focus on reciting the second Parah with Tajweed.
Month 3:
- Characteristics of the Quran: Study the stylistic and linguistic features of the Quran, such as I’jaz (inimitability) and the use of rhetorical devices.
- Recitation Practice: Progress to the third Parah, applying Tajweed rules and maintaining fluency.
Month 4:
- Analyzation and identifying the correct Makhraj and Sifaatof the Arabic letters.
Month 5:
- Final Recitation: Students will recite the fifth and final Parah, incorporating all the Tajweed rules, Makharij, and characteristics studied throughout the course.
Assessment and Certification: Throughout the course, students will be evaluated through regular assessments, recitation sessions, and quizzes to monitor their progress. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate of achievement, acknowledging their dedication and accomplishment in mastering the selected Quranic chapters with Tajweed, Makharij, and understanding their characteristics.
