Introduction of Kufic Calligraphy:
The kufic script is the first style of islamic period. During 1st three centuries of Islamic period, Quran was written and recorded in Kufic script that is why it is considered one of the sacred calligraphies.
Kufic calligraphy is divided into two categories basic and advance. And currently we are offering basic kufic calligraphy and one type of advance kufic calligraphy(decorative kufic calligraphy)In this course, we start Qaida which is like the base upon which the whole Quran & Arabic Language are Built.
Who Can Join:
Anyone who has passion to learn, write, and paint the Quranic verses can join. One who wants to gain or enhance a skill in this digital era should learn this script. Females above 7 can join the course.
Duration:
1 month based on weekdays(mon-friday)
Instructors Intro:
Noorulizza Zeb who is a LLB graduate has learnt calligraphy from teachers of Kuwait and Iran from International Islamic University and online. She has been teaching calligraphy from past 5 years on different platforms. 200+ students have learnt kufic calligraphy from her. She also runs her page on instagram named “Inks & Strokes”.
